Hostinger Benefits and Features
If you’re looking for the best hosting company, then you may want to take a more extended look at Hostinger. They are one of the best hosting companies that you can use, and they are 1 of the top 3 web hosts at this point.
We decided to review Hostinger and compiled a list of some of the benefits and features that you can take advantage of if you use Hostinger as your web host. Here’s what we were able to find.
1. Strong Uptime Records
One of the things that we look for in a hosting provider is a strong uptime record. If your hosting provider isn’t able to offer excellent uptimes, then you’ll find that your website will have long periods where it will be down and inaccessible by your audience.
If your website isn’t live and accessible by your target audience, then your website is doing you little good. In fact, it may be damaging your business because if your customers can’t access your site, then they will leave your website with a bad memory of your establishment.
When you work with Hostinger, you can rest easy knowing that you’ll have a stable uptime for your website. Over the last two years, Hostinger has been able to maintain an uptime record of over 99%, which is a reliable indicator that you can trust them.
2. Fast Hosting Speeds
If you want your website to be successful, then you need to make sure that your website is fast. If your site isn’t fast, then your audience will get frustrated with your website and leave, which can affect your search rankings.
Since website speed is so important, then you’ll want to find a hosting company that can offer fast loading times. If your web host is slow, then your website will only be capable of being so fast, even if you work hard on site speed.
We have tested over 30 different hosting companies, and we found that the average loading time within the hosting industry was 700ms. When we tested Hostinger, we were pleased to see that they beat this record by taking just 373ms to load.
This is one of the fastest hosting speeds that we have found, and it’s perfect for a smaller website or for a website that gets a lot of website traffic. Your audience will experience a fast viewing experience if you use Hostinger Hosting.
3. Free Website Builder
If you’re looking to build a website without coding experience, then you may want to use a website builder. A website builder is a drop-and-drag platform that will allow you to create your website within a couple of hours. This method can save you a lot of money and time on web design.
When you work with Hostinger, you’ll be able to use their free website builder, which will give you access to hundreds of pre-built website themes. You’ll be able to choose a theme that you like and then begin customizing the theme to fit your needs.
Once you’re finished the customization, you’ll be able to launch a website that looks professional and functions properly. This method is an easy way for beginners to get a website built without spending a lot of money or using a lot of free time on the designing process.
You’ll also be given a free domain name that you can use for your website when you host your website through Hostinger and use their free website building platform.
4. Fast Customer Support
One of the things that we look at when we review hosting companies is their customer service and support team. If a hosting company doesn’t have a strong support team, then it can be a pain to deal with them and a headache to resolve any hosting issues that you may be experiencing.
Since we love a strong support team, we decided to give them a trial run and see how they performed. We were able to connect to their support team within a few minutes, and their support rep seemed happy to help, easy to deal with and knowledgable about their hosting services.
Another beautiful thing about the Hostinger Customer Service is the fact that they are multilingual, which means that you can use them if you live internationally and would prefer to speak your native language.
You’ll be able to access their customer service on a 24/7 basis and 365 days per year via phone, email or live chat (through your Hostinger account).
5. Scalable Hosting Plans
One of the things that we look for in any hosting provider is the ability to scale your hosting plans so that your website doesn’t become limited by a hosting plan that is too small for your website.
If your web host doesn’t’ allow you to upgrade or downsize your hosting plans, then you’ll need to buy a hosting plan that is too big for your current website in hopes that your website will require that hosting plan in the long run.
When you work with Hostinger, you’ll be able to scale your hosting plans to meet the needs that you have with your current website. This means that you won’t need to pay extra money for hosting data that you won’t use. You can simply find a hosting plan that fits your needs and upgrade as you grow.
6. Cheap Hosting Plans
If you have to host a smaller website and you’re on a budget, then you’ll want to take a look at the hosting packages which you can purchase from Hostinger. It will be hard for you to find cheaper hosting plans than Hostinger, and even if you can find a few more affordable options, the hosting services won’t be as fast as Hostinger.
You will be able to purchase a shared hosting plan from Hostinger for as low as $0.80 per month. This is an exceptionally low price and one that you can take advantage of for a long time when you purchase a 36-month contract from Hostinger.
This means that you can purchase 36 months of web hosting for less than $40, which is insanely cheap.
7. Easy-To-Use Control Panel (cPanel)
If you’ve never set up your hosting before or set up a new website, then you’ve likely never dealt with a cPanel before. The traditional cPanels can take a little getting used to because they can tend to look outdated to those who aren’t used to the traditional look.
Hostinger has noticed this, and so they have redesigned their control panel to look better and be more simple for their customers. The Hostinger cPanel is easier to use than the traditional cPanel, and it’s designed with user-friendliness in mind.
You’ll be able to quickly set up your hosting and manage your website from your control panel, which makes it easier for those who are less tech-savvy. If you’re a tech guru and you love the old cPanel look, then you may find it harder to use the more modern cPanel that Hostinger has designed.
8. 30-Day Refund Policy
Before you purchase hosting for your website, you’ll want to take a look at the refund policy that the hosting provider can offer. If your web host doesn’t have an excellent refund policy, then you could get stuck in a long term hosting contract, which will cause a lot of headaches down the road.
When you work with Hostinger, you’ll be able to take advantage of their 30-Day refund policy. During this time, you’ll be able to set up a smaller website and test the Hostinger Hosting Services before deciding if they’re the best hosting company for your website.
If you determine that Hostinger isn’t right for you, then you can simply request a refund within 30-days after purchasing your hosting and Hostinger will issue a refund.
Disadvantages of Using Hostinger
When you’re looking for a hosting provider, it can be tough not to become picky and waste a lot of time trying to find the perfect hosting provider. This is because the perfect hosting provider doesn’t exist, and every hosting service has its own flaws, which they try to hide with all of their benefits and features.
At the end of the day, it’s up to you to make an educated decision and pick the best hosting company for your own website based on the pros and cons that you have found and the hosting features which will benefit you the most.
We reviewed Hostinger and found some of the disadvantages that you may experience when you work with them as your web host. Here’s what we found.
1. No Traditional Control Panel (cPanel)
We have already reviewed the Hosting cPanel and the redesign that they have done to provide a better dashboard for their customers. Hostinger has tried to make it easier for people to manage their website through the Hostinger cPanel dashboard.
While we love the modern-looking control panel, this could become a disadvantage to the tech gurus who have fallen in love with the traditional cPanels. If you have spent a lot of time managing websites or using cPanels for your website, then you may find a modern look a bit confusing.
We believe that the modern cPanel is easy to use, so if you’re tech-savvy and love the traditional cPanels, then you’ll likely be able to figure out this well-designed control panel by Hostinger.
2. Common Pricing Schemes
If you’ve used hosting before, you’ve likely figured out that it’s much cheaper to buy a long-term hosting contract. This pricing scheme has been implemented by almost every hosting company as a means of making their customers buy longer hosting contracts.
When you look at the pricing plans for most hosting providers, you’ll notice that it’s usually quite cheap to purchase hosting. This low monthly fee will only be available if you are buying a 24-month or 36-month contract. After this initial contract has expired, however, you’ll have to renew your hosting plan at the regular price if you wish to keep hosting your website with that particular web host.
While this is pretty common, you should be aware that you’ll have to renew your hosting contract at the regular fee. Always check the regular prices to ensure that you’re ‘ok’ with paying that price in the future.
Despite the common pricing schemes, we still find that Hostinger is one of the cheapest web hosts that you can find.
Hostinger Hosting Plans and Prices
When you’re choosing a hosting provider for your website, you’ll want to take a look at the different hosting plans that you’ll be able to pick from your web host. If a hosting company doesn’t offer a wide variety of hosting plans that are within your budget, then you may want to find a better hosting provider.
If you work with Hostinger, then you’ll be able to pick from a lot of different hosting types to find the perfect hosting plans for your website. Here are some of the different types of hosting that you can purchase from Hostinger:
We will take a more in-depth look at each of these hosting tiers and break down the plans within each hosting tier. Hopefully, this will help you make an educated decision on which hosting plans are the best for you.
If you’re not sure which type of hosting is the best for your website, then you can contact the Hostinger support, and they will be happy to help you find the right plan for your website.
Hostinger Shared Hosting
If you’ve never heard of shared hosting, it’s one of the most popular forms of web hosting that you’ll be able to purchase. This is because the plans are smaller, which makes them a lot cheaper, and many websites don’t require a hosting plan with more data than you’ll be able to get from a shared hosting plan. This makes shared hosting the perfect choice for smaller websites.
When you use a shared hosting plan, you’ll be sharing your hosting server with many other websites. This can cause issues because there are no data guarantees when you’re on a shared hosting server. This means that the other sites on your server can use up too much data and not leave enough for your website.
If you have a more extensive website, then you may want to use Cloud Hosting or VPS Hosting so that you can ensure that your server has enough data to provide a smooth viewing experience to your audience members.
When you work with Hostinger, you’ll be able to choose between 3 different shared hosting plans:
- Single Shared — As low as $0.99 per month
- Premium Shared — As low as $2.59 per month
- Business Shared — As low as $4.49 per month
These shared hosting plans have a lot of extra features that you’ll be able to take advantage of to help grow your smaller website. You’ll also have access to the Hostinger Website Builder for free when you use any Hostinger hosting plan.
If your website is getting under 25,000 viewers every month, then you’ll be able to benefit from the Hostinger Shared Hosting Plans.
Always check your hosting account to see how much data your website uses every month so that you know when to upgrade your hosting plan so that your site has enough hosting resources to handle spikes in traffic.
Hostinger VPS Hosting
If your website needs more hosting data or you’d like to be guaranteed a minimum amount of data per month so that your website will load properly at all times, then you may want to start using a Virtual Private Server (VPS) to host your website.
A Virtual Private Server is similar to shared hosting because you’ll still be sharing a hosting server with many other websites. However, you’ll be given an allotted amount of data per month that only your website can use.
This means that the other websites on your server won’t be able to eat through the server’s resources and leave your site without enough data. Your website plan will also have more data from a VPS, which means that you can handle more website traffic.
When you use Hostinger, you’ll be able to choose from 6 different VPS Plans:
- 1vCPU Plan — Starting at $3.95 per month
- 2vCPU Plan — Only $8.95 per month
- 3vCPU Plan — Just $12.95 per month
- 4vCPU Plan — From $15.95 per month
- 6vCPU Plan — From $23.95 per month
- 8vCPU Plan — From $29.95 per month
One of the beautiful things about using a Virtual Private Server is the fact that you’ll have root access to your hosting server, which will allow you to customize and configure your server settings to meet your needs.
A Virtual Private Server from Hostinger also uses a Solid State Drive (SSD Storage), which is much faster than Hard Disk Drive Storage (HDD). This means that you’ll have access to faster loading speeds when you use a Virtual Private Server to host your website.
If your website has under 250,000 viewers every month, then you may want to use a Virtual Private Server to give your website the best chance for success.
Hostinger Cloud Hosting
If you would like to purchase faster web hosting from Hostinger, then you may want to look at the Hostinger Cloud Hosting Plans. These plans are built with speed in mind, and they can be up to 3x faster than normal hosting plans.
You’ll also be given a guaranteed amount of website data every month, which will help you maintain a consistent viewing experience for your audience members. The Cloud Hosting plans are also scalable, which means that you can easily upgrade your hosting plan to meet the growing needs of your website.
If you use the Hostinger Cloud Hosting, then you’ll be able to choose from 3 different hosting plans:
- Startup Plan — Starting at $7.45 per month
- Professional Plan — Only $14.95 per month
- Enterprise Plan — Just $27.45 per month
These hosting plans are perfect for just about anyone since they offer a lot of hosting data at a very reasonable starting price. Even if you have a smaller website, then you could easily benefit from the hosting speed that you’ll find in the Cloud Hosting Plans.
If your website is getting over 100,000 viewers every month, then you may need to upgrade your hosting plan, and the Cloud Hosting Plans are the perfect fit for a website like yours.
Hostinger WordPress Hosting
If you’re building a website, then you’ve likely heard about WordPress, which is a Content Management System (CMS) that allows you to develop and manage your own site with little to no coding experience.
WordPress websites have taken over the internet by storm, and they power almost half of the sites on the internet. If you have a WordPress website, then it only makes sense that you use a hosting plan which is optimized for WordPress.
If you use the Hostinger WordPress Hosting Plans then you’ll be able to choose from 3 different hosting plans:
- Single WordPress Plan — Starting at $0.80 per month
- Premium WordPress Plan — Only $2.15 per month
- Business WordPress Plan — Just $3.45 per month
These hosting plans are built and optimized for WordPress websites, and they come with pre-installed WordPress features, which will make it easier for you to set up your WordPress Website.
Features such as 1-click install, caching plugins, Enhanced WordPress Security, and WordPress Support will make it easier for you to get your WordPress website up and running with Hostinger Hosting.
If your website is getting under 100,000 viewers per month, then you’ll likely be able to benefit from the Hostinger WordPress Hosting Plans.
Do We Recommend Hostinger Hosting?
Yes, we would recommend Hostinger to just about anyone who has a website. Whether you have a small website or a website with a lot of traffic, then you’ll be able to find a Hostinger hosting plan that will fit your needs.
If you work with Hostinger, then you’ll be able to take advantage of their fast hosting speeds (373ms load time) and their consistent uptime records of over 99%, which means that your website won’t have much downtime.
We also love that Hostinger has a support staff that is multilingual so that you can speak your native language when you’re trying to fix your hosting issues. Hostinger Support staff is also very fast, and they are experts within the hosting space, which means that they know what they’re talking about.
Hostinger also has a lot of free features that you can take advantage of, such as a free website builder, which will allow you to quickly build your website within a few hours through pre-built themes.
Overall, we would say that Hostinger is one of the best web hosts that you can use, and we would recommend them to anyone who needs hosting for their website.
